Great solid craftsman-ship , smooth ink flows,You deserve this pen. Filling with  fountain pen converterPlace the fountain pen nib first into the bottle of ink until the nib is entirely covered. Twist the piston converter counterclockwise at the top. This forces the air out of the converter. Then twist the top of the piston converter clockwise to draw the ink up into the converter. While holding the nib above the bottle of ink, slowly twist the piston converter counterclockwise until a bead of ink flows from the tip of the nib. Gently blot excess ink from the nib with a lint-free cloth or blotter paper.Maintain your fountain pen1. Use only fountain pen ink. Do not use India ink, which contains damaging shellac, and do not use drafting ink or technical ink.2.Cap the pen with its fitted cap, or another protective covering if it does not have its own cap, when not in use. Do not unnecessarily cap and recap the pen, since it is subject to wear and an eventual loose fit.3.Do not bend the clip beyond how it is designed to function: a tightly sprung clip. Do not subject the nib to any force beyond the force exerted on it for use in writing on paper.4.Empty the fountain pen of ink if you are not going to use it for more than a few days. Thoroughly clean the fountain pen with room temperature plain water before storing the pen for an extended length of time.
