Make sure to shake the marker with the cap firmly on to activate and mix the color. Remove the cap and press the tip firmly and repeatedly until the tip is colored with ink. Don't continually push on the tip after it's loaded or it might overflow. STORE THE MARKERS HORIZONTALLY. Keep in mind, the tip will dry out more quickly if writing upside down. WARNING!! CONVENTIONAL BLACKBOARDS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR LIQUID CHALK! Most blackboards are made from pianted .fiberboard and will absorb pigment. While markers will work on rough or textured surfaces,it will be difficult to remove.Use boards specifically made for chalk paint or any of the dozens of other non porous surfaces available. Make sure to replace the cap completely after each use and store your markers horizontally.
