All of our leather journals are handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. They have been expertly crafted using a mixture of contemporary and traditional methods and the pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for traveling. The paper used in these journals is handmade using recycled cotton (also known as khadda, kaddi or khaddi) leftover from the massive garment industry in India. It is acid-free because we only use unbleached cotton and it produces a beautiful paper, easy to write, draw or paint on. We don't recommend using fountain pen with this type of handmade paper. |

INDO CRAFT beautiful Fair Trade embossed leather journals make for a great diary, travel journal, inspiration book or simple notebook. The leather covers age really well so they are happy to take a few knocks!

Each journal is handmade and contains unlined khadda paper. Khadda paper is made from recycled cotton, is acid-free and is a beautiful paper to write or draw on.

The paper is very easy to write on but does have a slight texture. We do not advise using an ink pen on this paper, ball point or gel pen will work the best.

The stones stitched onto these journals have been handpicked by us and may differ from the image shown as we use a mixture of tiger's eye, lapis, Labradorite and black onyx etc.
